Administrative Fellowship Program

Fellowship Mission and Purpose

St. Joseph Health's Northern California region offers a unique fellowship experience that allows the fellows to observe and contribute at an executive level, to a values based organization, who has had long-standing commitment to the communities they serve. The one-year fellowship program is coordinated and supported by the respective Chief Operating Officer of each facility as well as the strategic services team.

The rotation program is designed to cultivate leaders in the field of healthcare through exposure to a wide range of hands-on operational, financial, strategic and project management initiatives. In addition, executive teams support and encourage active engagement with local and regional leadership involvement, through the participation in leadership meetings and one-on-one mentorship.

The mission is evidenced in many ways: through grants awarded to community entities; community services; physician referrals, youth programs, and the dedication of employees to carry out the mission every day. We are proud of the medical services offered and caliber of personnel within our health system, and we look forward to serving the north coast health needs well into the future.
