Annadel Medical Group is starting two specialty practices and adding a total of 13 more physicians – including primary care and specialists – to better serve Sonoma County. The upcoming practices include gastroenterology, which focuses on the digestive system, and obstetrics and gynecology. These important medical specialties will enable the group to provide more comprehensive care to the community.
The expansion brings the number of providers in Annadel to 60, including 50 physicians and 10 nurse practitioners. The following physicians will start seeing patients as part of Annadel Medical Group and the St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare medical practice foundation, effective on these dates:
Gastroenterology – Aug. 27
Joshua P. Beirne, MD, joins Annadel Medical Group as a board-certified gastroenterologist after maintaining a private practice in Santa Rosa for the past several years. He served as a teaching fellow in the division of gastroenterology at the Brown University Alpert School of Medicine, Rhode Island Hospital, where he also completed his fellowship. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
A. Michael Lustberg, MD, AGAF, a board-certified gastroenterologist, comes to Annadel Medical Group after having served the Santa Rosa community for many years in a well-respected private group practice. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and received his doctor of medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in the British West Indies. He has been honored among "Top Docs" in patient satisfaction at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Obstetrics and Gynecology – Sept. 4
Julie D. Clark, MD, FACOG, comes to Annadel Medical Group as a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with seven years of private practice experience, most recently at Petaluma Women's Health in Petaluma, where she served as the managing physician since 2008. Dr. Clark received her doctor of medicine from Cornell University and completed her residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She has twice been honored among "Top Docs" in patient satisfaction at Petaluma Valley Hospital.
Anthony P. Kosinki, MD, joins Annadel Medical Group as a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than eight years experience in a private practice – most recently in Petaluma at Petaluma Women's Health. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Illinois – Chicago, and spent five years as the clinical instructor for OB/GYN residents and medical students from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Kosinski serves as vice president of the medical staff at Petaluma Valley Hospital, and also has been honored among "Top Docs" at Petaluma Valley.

With these new physicians, the Annadel group broadens its base of long-time Sonoma County practitioners, along with several newcomers and physicians who have recently relocated to the area. The expansion increases consumers' choices and access to care through the Annadel group, which partners with the St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare medical practice foundation and St. Joseph Health in Santa Rosa and Petaluma.
