Petaluma Valley Hospital to continue serving patients during nurses’ strike

The California Nurses Association (CNA) union has called for a one-day strike Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Petaluma Valley Hospital and at eight other hospitals in the state, predominantly at non-St. Joseph Health facilities in Northern California.

To maintain quality, safe, compassionate care for our patients, Petaluma Valley Hospital has contracted the services of highly qualified registered nurses who will fill in for our nurses who choose to participate in the strike.

We remain committed to serving our community during and after CNA's strike. As an organization, we are also committed to keeping health care affordable for our patients and to preserving acute care services in Petaluma.
