a Region's Best Hospital for Patient Experience based on female patient satisfaction.
Hospitals are selected for this prestigious annual list based on a proprietary scoring process that incorporates Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores along with a higher level of analysis that weighs criteria identified as the most important to women for patient satisfaction. Additionally, it takes into consideration WomenCertified's in-depth research on customer satisfaction among women, including a joint study on customer satisfaction by gender conducted with the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
"Meeting the needs and expectations of all our patients – with high-quality, safe, compassionate care -- is extremely important to us. However, we do recognize that the needs of women are different, and that many conditions manifest differently in women," said Rhonda R. Foster, EdD, MPH, MS, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. "While responding to these unique needs, our staff and physicians are devoted to delivering on our promise of quality every day. We're proud of this honor by WomenCertified, which affirms their commitment to excellence, and grateful to all who entrust us with caring for them and their families."
Because of Santa Rosa Memorial's high consumer satisfaction scores, WomenCertified is delighted to further honor Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with the Women's Choice Award, designating it the North Coast Region's Best Hospital for Patient Experience among women. Women are empowered to make better choices by having a Seal that represents the collective opinion of women who highly recommend that brand, service or hospital.
