Annadel Medical Group adds 5 established Sonoma County physicians, 3 new specialties


Santa Rosa, Calif., February 3, 2014 – In February 2014, Annadel Medical Group will welcome five new Sonoma County physicians – representing three new specialties for the group – and increasing the total number of physicians practicing with the group to 66. All five physicians are established and well known in the local medical community and will join Annadel Medical Group, which partners with the St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare medical practice foundation and Santa Rosa Memorial and Petaluma Valley hospitals.

This latest expansion of the fast-growing medical group adds urology, plus outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine, to Annadel physicians' areas of specialization. The following physicians will continue to see their existing patients and also will welcome new patients through their Annadel practices, effective on these upcoming dates:

Critical Care/Pulmonary/Sleep Medicine – starting February 10, 2014

Ralph DiLisio, MD

Dr. DiLisio is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease and is board eligible in critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Michigan and completed his residency and internship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. DiLisio is the Medical Director of Critical Care Medicine and Respiratory Care at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Petaluma Valley Hospital and has been in private practice in Santa Rosa for more than eight years.

Eugene Belogorsky, MD

Dr. Belogorsky completed his medical degree at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, internship and residency at the University of Southern California Medical Center, and his Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. He is the founder of North Bay Sleep Medicine Institute, and has been in private practice in Santa Rosa and affiliated with Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for more than 25 years.

Greg Ackroyd, MD
Dr. Ackroyd is board certified in neurology and sleep medicine. He attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, completed his neurology residency at University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed his sleep medicine fellowship at University North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Ackroyd is currently the Medical Director at North Bay Sleep Medicine Institute and has maintained a private practice in Santa Rosa for the past seven years.

Urology – starting February 24, 2014

James Palleschi, MD

Dr. Palleschi is board certified in urology and has extensive subspecialty experience in renal transplantation. He completed his medical degree at UC Irvine, residency in urology at UCSF, and a kidney transplant fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Sonoma State University. Dr. Palleschi has been in practice in Santa Rosa for more than 36 years, most recently with Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods.

Robert James, MD

Dr. James completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and residency training in general surgery and urology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. James is board certified in urology and is a clinical instructor in urology at the University of San Francisco. Dr. James has been in practice in Santa Rosa for more than 25 years, most recently with Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods.

Drs. Palleschi, James, DiLisio, Belogorsky and Ackroyd look forward to continuing to care for their established patients while also expanding access to new patients. After their respective transitions in February, outpatient pulmonary (Drs. DiLisio & Belogorsky) and sleep medicine (Drs. Belogorsky & Ackroyd) services will remain at 585 West College Avenue in Santa Rosa. The urology practice of Drs. Palleschi & James will move to 121 Sotoyome Street, Suite 203 in Santa Rosa, near Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
