Dr. Ferrer is an excellent neurologist and my health has improved dramatically under his care.
    I like *Dr. Ferrer.
His office called me to come in sooner, in fact that day if I could make it. They accommodated me having to come from a different county (I don't live really close). I immediately and arrived on time when I said I can get there by this time. They saw me promptly and I received the results from the test that I do have MS. He explained the medicine he is prescribing and that his office will set me up with some free sample as it take time before I will be receiving the medicine. He also told me that I will need to come in every 3 month to check my white blood cell count. Also, if this medicine isn't working for me the next step would be steroids. He also stated that these medications are NOT cures and that there currently re no curse but they are trying to prevent attacks. However there is no guarantee that they will prevent all or any attacks. (My own words this is the best we got right now to address this phenomena in the human body.) I apricate the promptness in finding out what is going on with me and especially the promptness of treating it once it was discovered/confirmed. I already had an appointment for December concerning this matter and upon asking if I should keep it was told to keep it. It will be my first check up from taking the medicine. You might think it is longer than 3 months but I still haven't received the medicine so it will work out just fine. Oh, yeah he told me no stress. I am trying to be stress free. Positive attitude and all. When I told my dad, he said I should get a paper stating that. I might ask at my next appointment.
I am very happy with Dr. Ferrer's visit and the time he took to become acquainted with me, a new patient.
Dr. Ferrer was very nice and explained some things with me when I asked about them. He seemed to know everything about my problem. I liked him very much. But I could not get an appointment with him for about three months from when I had had been told to see him. Three months seemed to be very long for a followup on my stroke!
