Diagnostic Cardiology
The Heart & Vascular Institute at Santa Rosa Memorial offers state-of-the-art
diagnostic procedures to aid in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment
of possible heart disease. Patients who have experienced shortness of
breath, episodes of fainting, chest pain or noticeable rhythm disturbances
- for example feeling the heart flutter - are evaluated to find the cause
of their symptoms.
Non-Invasive Diagnostic procedures include:
- Cardiac CT Angiography
- Echocardiography
- EKG
- Nuclear Cardiology/Stress Testing: treadmil, non-treadmill, stress echocardiography,
pharmacological stress test, etc.
- Tilt Test
Invasive Diagnostic procedures include:
- Blood work: cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.
- Transesophageal echo
- Cardioversion
