Dr. Kent Yinger
Dr. Kent Yinger is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder surgery and ACL reconstruction. After graduating summa cum laude from California State University, Northridge, he went on to receive his medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine, where he was an elected member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, a professional medical organization that advocates excellence in scholarship and the highest ideals in the medical profession. Dr. Yinger completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UC Davis, and then went on to complete fellowships in orthopedic trauma surgery from UC Davis and orthopedic sports medicine in Los Angeles.
Dr. Yinger practices orthopedics at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital's Center for Bone & Joint Health and is the chief orthopedic team physician at both Santa Rosa Junior College and Windsor High School. Dr. Yinger is actively involved in orthopedic surgery research and has contributed to several studies within his areas of expertise.
