Petaluma Valley Hospital
January 19, 2017 marks the end of St. Joseph Health’s original 20
year lease of Petaluma Valley Hospital (PVH). Petaluma Health Care District
(PHCD), the public entity which owns the hospital, has requested formal
proposals from health care organizations that wish to operate PVH by either
leasing the hospital from PHCD or purchasing the hospital.
St. Joseph Health has submitted a formal proposal to continue to operate

Over the past 18 years, St. Joseph Health has contributed over $190 million
into the Petaluma community. Over $87 million were invested into community
benefit programs, and over $103 million were invested into Medicare.
